That it is your "duty" (so to speak) to warn other horse owners about certain things (mainly concerning livery yards and trainers).
I think there is a fine line between being responsible and interfering, but not too sure where that line comes. For example if you had a really bad experience of a certain trainer would you voice it? Or would you worry that it could be considered slander?
If you KNEW (as in had experienced) horse cruelty in a certain area or by a certain person would you voice it as you wouldn't want other owners to go through the same thing? And finally if you had really bad experiences of certain livery yards, and knew that not only were people falsely advertising, but there were also circumstances that you felt others should know - would you voice them?
I was just discussing with some friends whether this would be considered interfering, or merely looking out for other horsey people based on experiences and was wondering what other people thought? After all one would not hesitate in reviewing a product and being very negative about it, so why should the same not apply to livery yards or instructors?
