Shoes off 3 weeks ago on thursday, she never had back shoes on only fronts so thought Id go for it and see how she does.
Farrier says shel be fine, so fingers crossed.

Feet look good to start off with from what I can see.

But I'd keep an eye on her diet if she starts to struggle - it's tough to see in the pics, but I think I can see a a stretched white line and some ripples on the wall. If that's the case she'll really struggle come spring.

But it may just be a trick of the light

Welcome to the club.
All of ours are barefoot; we event, hunt, do endurance rides all without problems. With proper trimming, diet and care I see no reason for ours wearing shoes.
