Hi all, some of you may remember that I recently acquired a Welsh D x Appy mare, and was trying to trace her Dam and Sire, I had their names but wanted pictures of them if possible. I had managed to trace her bloodlines on all breeds pedigree and had some wonderful images of her ancestors but wanted some of MOM and POP!!
I ended up contacting a lady who had a foal for sale by the same sire, enquiring as to whether she could point me in the direction of his owner. It turened out I had contacted my mares breeder and she sent me the photos I wanted... here they are for those of you who requested I post them, The sire is not what I would have chosen but he has done her proud, my Shanti is lovely, I also found out that the breeder named her Mabel, it's nice to have some history for them.

Shantia When I got her, although this does not do her justice, she looks so good now with her summer coat. I must take some 'now' pics.
