Thinking he might be a cat:

Do you like my bone?

I know he's not allowed to climb the stairs but he has recently discovered that he can and I keep finding him on 'his' step!!

Big glass of wine if you got through them all!!

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yes - he is going to be huge!! He will be 18 weeks on Friday, and he currently weighs 24kg!

He is such a dope. At puppy class last night we had to do an exercise where you walk your dog in between other dogs. Everyone else is trying to keep their dogs attention - Bear just lies there on his back wanting a belly rub not in the least bit bothered by the others (until his sister comes past and then he wants to play!)

GSD's are not a breed I would have ever of thought of having. especially one who has come from 2 guard dog parents yet he is one of the softest, quietest, most laid back dogs I have ever had. I think I must just have been so lucky by getting him at 4 weeks old and being able to put all the handling in.

I think it's love!!

Sounds like a true gsd to me, the fiercer they look, the softer they are I find... they also have that uncanny ability to reel you in! You are reaping the rewards though for all your hard work!

Absolutely gorgeous. I especially love the picture of him on his step.....the cute factor with the "one ear up, on ear down" definitely means he can't be "told off" for being on the stairs.

Bless his little heart.

He is gorgeous, and is certainly going to be a big lad. Seems like you are a convert to the breed, butI think you have to take the credit for his temperament. The fact that he left his dam early was possibly a good thing, as he hasn't learnt any aggressive behaviour from her, but your approach to socialising the litter was absolutely brilliant. There are some big breeders who could certainly learn a thing or two from you
