I would still like to get a bit more off, but think her shoulder looks more defined now.

**Sorry couldn't resist***She is getting there, I would just like to be able to find a rib!!!! I'm sure she had ribs once, but I'm damned if I know where they have all gone!!!

She's looking super, PS.

I wouldn't worry too much about her 'apple bottom' (known as an 'apfelarsch' here!

). She's a cob, and they are dual purpose animals - ride and drive. The 'gutter' makes sure the back band lies in exactly the right place. I just wish I could find a piccy of a Schwartzwälder Kaltblut's bum to show you - they have super backends on them - and nobody seems to connect this with being overweight......

Thanks. I'm not too worried about her apple bottom, as think she would have to be thin to lose it. I would however like to find a rib!!! No amount of proding can find one yet!!!

That made me spit my cereal out!! LOL!!

I am still trying to get the Appy to loose a bit more (no ribs) but she has decided to plateau, if you find a way to reduce further do let me know

The left hand shot at the bottom is looking like it

Think Merlin in his fit as a flea shot is spot on for him and you are nearly there - or the Sparkle equivalent. I am not certain about the M bum (i.e. whether it is possible to eradicate it on certain types) so I won't base my thoughts on that alone

I think anyone with a concern and acting against their horse being possibly overweight should be congratulated as having a proper approach to horse management

For a cob, she's very sexy and I can see a shoulder there!

Well Sparks is out at night with a grazing muzzle on, in a restricted patch. She is in all day (about 8hrs) with 5lbs of soaked hay. She also gets a handful of Lucie Stalks AM & PM with Vit & Min Supp. added. She is ridden at least 5 days out of 7 (sometimes twice i.e. Schooled in morning/hack in afternoon) for between 30mins-4hrs!! Yet I still struggle to keep the weight off!!! So I don't think I've found the secret yet!!!!
