Following on from the previous post as I can't seem to find it now, I thought I'd let you all know I now have Beau's ashes home.
In a strange way I feel much more comforted. It feels like she is now home with us.
Silly b****aren't I

I have Saff's home now too. I had asked for a scattering box but due to a mix up somewhere we have a most beautiful casket, I had fully intended to bury her ashes with the other dogs but not sure what to do now. Won't be doing anything in a hurry, still want to look out from the kitchen and see her in her run. :(

Glad you've got her home now. Hugs to you and MM it is so hard :(

When I went to collect Murph's ashes from the vet, I had Paddi with me as a small pup and the nurses and customers were all cooing over him as he stood on the counter.
Lady then put the box on the counter next to him and I burst into tears :(. I felt so guilty that I had this new puppy and my beautiful boy who I would never see again was in a small box no biggeer than the pup.

Have him at home now next to my other boy's box so they sleep side by side like they always used to.

I know exactly what you mean. I keep looking for her all the time.

I have Minnies ashes, they are on top of the fridge in the hall. I really don't know what to do with them. We may be moving soon so want to take her with us but she will be somewhere she doesn't know. Does that sound odd? For some reason we didn't have Max cremated, would have liked to have put them together really.
