Asparagus?

Now the English aspasragus season has finally started I am having it regularly, well every day 'cos I love it.

Anyhoo I chop off the bottoms to even up the spears, is it safe to feed to horses?

I can't see why it wouldn't be safe (but don't quote me!). More to the point, would they eat it and if so would it make their wee smell as well?!!

Well it makes my OH's wee smell!
I will see if he likes it, he can be very fussy. Even been known to throw food he doesn't like, such as parsnips, so no doubt he will let me know.
