Just to update folks on our dog that I was convinced had aspergillosis as she had all the symptoms as she's getting steadily worse although the first vet originally diagnosed her with allergic rhinnitis. So we went to another vet for a fresh pair of eyes and second opinion and they suggested doing a culture.

We have had the results of the culture back from the lab of the swab we did of Candy's nasal discharge and it says she has a heavy mixed growth of staph intermedius and a pasteurella spp.

She is sensitive to Amox and clav, enrofloxacin, sulph+trim and doxycyline antibiotics and resistant to cephalexin, clindamycin and fusidic acid.

The vet is going to try her on three types of antibiotics, the first being noroclav tabs 250mg x 1 per day. This is for a fortnight.

They say its not aspergillosis which is good in a way but will still no further forward in treatment. So we are keeping our fingers crossed this works out.
She is also having a change of environment in the next three months to a new property so we can see if that helps also.
