I just wondered whether anyone has experience with a horse that had restricted airways.

I ask because one of my boys has just had an op to remove a cyst that had formed on one of hist sinuses under his cheek. I was given the news that removing it would only prevent it getting worse and would not improve the current scenario. It was found because he was making funny noises in the hotter weather and when we came to scope him the vet couldn't get the scope up his right nostril.

As I say, this situation will now be the norm for him so I was wondering if anyone out there had experience of ahorse with this kind of restriction and wanted to know what they were capable of doing.

Thanks for any info - I am very curious as I want to be able to give my boy the best possible life going forward.
