Aston le Walls 12th-13th UA Horse Trials - A361 closure ?

Does anyone know if this is the case as per the warning on the bdwp website ?

We'll be travelling from the M40 Oxford direction so any helpful travel suggestions would be gratefully received if the A361 is in fact closed.

The A361 is closed from 8pm Friday the 11th until 6am on Monday 14th at Chipping Warden so the website is correct you won’t be able to get through. When you come off the M40 turn left towards Banbury and go across all the roundabouts until you get to the Tesco roundabout. You will need the 3rd? exit towards Southam on the A423 which is a good road. At some point you will need to do a right turn towards Aston and it will be smaller B roads.
