Has anyone been before? Is it worthwhile? I'm hoping to try and get to it in March, just to do the 80cm class as a bit of cross country practise before the cross country courses open near me for schooling. It's about an hour away from me so don't want to make a wasted journey.

Thanks :)

I went a couple of weeks ago to do the 80cm. It's really worth while, we are about an hour away too and definitely worth the trip. They also hire the course out which may be something to consider, if you just want to use it as a schooling exercise?

Here's a video of us when we were there recently, we managed to come 2nd so good day out all round for my youngster, and a great warm up for her first season of eventing. Excuse her green-ness in the xc bit, it's all very new for her and she is a spooky horse at the best of times..!

That looks like a great course, and I really enjoyed the video BQ.

My instructor is holding a camp at ALW thus weekend but I can't go, wish I could, it looks fab. Long way for me, we're on the south coast.

I love Aston!!! competed there twice in the summer; BE and unaff and am heading back end of feb for arena eventing! Its 2.5 hours away from me but i will not hesitate to make the trip its deffo worth it :) i have been doing some arena eventing closer to home but it has no water, ditch etc so will be nice to see what baby pony thinks of it! Im only doing the 80cm too :)
