Had a lesson with Nigel on their amazing new surface, Herbie was a good boy and we are going back again in a few weeks :D

We were working on curving lines, straightness and me keeping the rhythm and not always looking for the perfect stride!

Was that for a private hour lesson? Tbh even if shared lesson its still pretty good value when compared to just arena hire price! :)

Having seen those jumps (and not jumped them) I can say they are massive. You make them look easy. Might have to have a chat with J's mum and see about having a lesson over there too.

Lovely pics and horse too :smile3:

Yes that was a private lesson, wasn't quite an hour as we had done everything we needed in about 45 mins but I'm sure if we were having an issue it would have been longer.

Lovely video! You both look so ready for the eventing season!

I went there a few weeks ago and had a lesson with Nigel. He was great - we got going straight away in the indoor school, no little cross pole, straight into a grid and then a water tray and course and whacked up a couple to 1.15m ish then out to the cross country. It was a bit of a shock to the system, but I was glad of it. The cross country jumps were great, and we managed to jump several of the novice fences (including the shoulder brush, which made me a little excited to see on your video!). I see they've changed the jumps all around even since I went, just a few weeks ago. So great to have a facility like that.

Good luck with the season, you both look fab!

That's nothing, I had 2 lessons on Friday back to back and they changed around the fences in between :D

(BTW those shoulder brushes had 'green' stickers on them which I assume means intermediate?
