I have been working on a 12.2 5yo welsh sec 'c' pony for a new client.

I have only worked with her 3 times, and she is up for sale as daughter has lost interest (very cheap, i'd buy her myself if there wasn't hay taking up my spare stable).
Make a lovely show pony for someone who was willing to work with her!

Anyway, very nervous of people (seems to like me though). Apparently never been ridden off the lead, and hasn't been ridden for for months. I have ridden her on the lead and she doesn't like it. She looks like those things you see that ahve just come off the hills, terrified of everything.

The woman asked me if I'd try riding her off the lead as I was up there on my own. So I got on expecting the worst, and she stood there, walked on when I asked, then came down into an outline! Then I asked for some trot, again, trotted on, in a lovely outline. So I have no idea what is going on, someone has obviously started her properly before her present lady owner.

I am so pleased though!!! She only want's £350 for her too. I don't think I've ever had such an easy 're-start'!

(brag brag brag, I'm like a proud mother, my clients think I'm barmy)

She is a ginger too! Adding to my amazement!

She can't seem to find the right buyer, but then again, I haven't found the right buyer for mine (probably due to me being too fussy, rather than them).

It's such a shame as she is only getting ridden once a week, and really needs more work.
