Livery A is away today due to family comitments. Plans to clip horse for first time ever on friday as she has day off work. Other livery takes her absence as opportunity to clip it! Didnt ask just went and did it!

Having been shocked I would be secretly glad if the clipping fairy broke in and did mine!

I would be fuming. Although I secretly long to get some clippers and clip my horse's beard off (would like to clip the horrible fluff all off but she's roughed off!), and clip Kit's woolly bits off! Actually, I would clip Kit if I knew I could ride her as often when her owner is home, as I am now she's away!

I used to work at a yard where the vet owner advertised our services clipping problem horses....or rather my services....

I'd have been more than happy if anyone had clipped the b*gg*rs for me

well yes, but surely you would want to be asked first, or at least be asked what type of clip you wanted?

Nah, it'll grow back in a few weeks anyway. She was probably trying to be kind.

i clipped my childrens pony today as he is coming back into work,

i would have liked it if i had gone up the and he had been clipped, would have saved me getting covered in hair and also trying to tackle a 11h ponies belly.. lol

I would be absolutely mortified! I dont particularily like clipping but its something you need to know your horse to do (especially if he's a bit tickly here and there)! Did she even know what sort of clip she wanted?!

I'd be mad
But do find it weird.Mean WHY would someone take it into their head to go clip someone elses horse without permission?????

Are they friends?
