At last - a very happy day!

On Thursday Arthur got the all clear from the vet, having been lame since the middle of February is now sound and being brought slowly back into work.

I broke my wrist in January (a rather powerful buck) so haven't actually been back on Arthur since then, over 4 months.

So yesterday, with the help of a bit of sedative (for the horse not me!) we had our first ride - a grand total of 20 minutes in walk, and I loved every minute

Thank you! It was strange because I thought it would feel like it had been ages but once my bum hit the saddle it was as though it had only been a few days!

Am just looking forward to slowly bringing him back into work now and hopefully he will begin to lose a bit of his belly!
