After months of looking I think I have found my new horse (hope I don't jinx it by posting this) I am sooooo excited.
This horse ticks almost none of my boxes, but hey that tends to be the way these things go!
I wanted a gelding- this is a mare
Had to be around 16hh- She is just 15.2
Not a bay- She is dark bay
well established- Just backed in April.
But she is fantastic. She moves like a dream, natural self carriage, so honest over the little jump I popped, I hardly jumped for four years cos of old boy's dodgy hocks and I was a bit stiff in front of my audience and had a wobble over one, and the little star slowed down and waited till I got in balance again and of we went!!!!
Going back to see her next week ( they are holding her for me as they want me to have her) to have a lesson on her, then fingers crossed she passes the vet so I can get her home.
Oh I never said she is a TB x secD (again a cross I tend not to like, but she is VERY well bread, as long as all go's well I will post some pics next week and see if you can all guess who dad is!)
