Jake is a 16.1 2001 KWPN Gelding by Odermus, registeed name, Umisch.
I bought Jake as a 7yo in 2008, evented, team chased, dressage and jumped him, but in Noveber 2008, i used him to fund buying my amazing mare, Vimone. The day he left my yard, i said to mum i would buy him back if i could... I have been trying to track him down for years... I eventually tracked him down, by a phonecall from a friend of mine who's friend had just got him in, i couldnt beleive it was really him... on May 28th 2012, I got my sexy Jakey Pegg back. :)

Thought you all might like to hear my story, i am so happy, i rode him today and was in heaven.

I know he has been from pillar to post, through no fault of his own, just one of those horses...
has anyone else come accross him? I would love to know what he's done in those almost 4 years..... here are some pictures of him:

Then today.... My first ride on him in 3.5 years! (please excuse the grumpy faces - was in deep concentration)

I know he is a little over bent in the last... but i love the rest of the picture :) i am so excited to see how it will look in a few weeks time. My dressage is so much better from 2008 and i plan to focus on dressage with him. :)

If anyone does know anything about where he has been, please let me know :)
thanks
Sam x

Wow!!!! He's stunning. So happy for you.

I hope I end up doing the same with my 'Umisch' [Aka...Splodge]...he was my one of them you never wish were sold. Always said I'll find him again at some point and get him back....even if he's old and wobbly!

How lovely for you both. Did he 'obviously' remember you, I have often wondered if they do remember people and places? He is a beautiful boy, enjoy being back together x

I am sure he remembered the yard... he came out of the lorry and looked around as if to say.... ohhh here again....
then walked me straight to his OLD stable... Bless him.
It would be lovely to think he remembers me, but he has been to so many homes i dont know if he would.
I just hope to make him as happy as possible and get good results out of him... a regional title would be nice ;) hehehe...
