At Long Last!!!.....

Finally I got my colt on Wednesday!!! Bertie, he's a sweetie. He's in a stable ATM just so he settles in a bit, hopefully put him out with Buddie and Bear at the weekend. he's about 13hh already!! It feels like christmas im soooo excited!!! his mums a New Forest and his dads a welsh D X. He's built like a brick poo house already!!!

and this was him on Wednesday night a bit upset as he was taken away from his mummy, it was dark so the pics aren't too bad!!

Thank for the compliments! he's so good. Before i lead him home i tried a 4ft 6'' rug on him whilst he was loose in a stable it was the 1st time and he didnt bat an eyelid!!! He needs atleast a 5ft rug LOL. but its nice because ive known him since he was born and he was kept in the fields next to my 2 so he knows me better than anyone.

his mum is a 21 yr old brood mare, she has bred almost 10 foals with a big 15.3hh stallion called Pirate who is also in his 20's and all her foals are atleast 15hh and she's only 13hh!!!
Berties dad is a welsh D x standing at 14.2hh now and he's a 3 year old but his dad was 15.3hh so you can never tell! I havent got any pictures of his dad but this is Berties half sister out of a welsh B, my friend bought her and she's the image of their dad!!!
