Single flying changes are used in BD tests at Advanced Medium level, counter canter starts to be introduced at Novice (I think) and half passes at Medium.
Won't he have BD points added if he has just been imported, which will limit his eligibility? I should think he'd have quite a few if he can do those movements, suggests that he is quite an advanced horse. Counter canter is at Novice, yes, so I would say he is Elementary at the very least, and would probably do OK at Medium !
depends how well he does it all, and how he would fair competing - just because he can do it at home, dosent necessarily mean he can get a good score out competing.
its hard to say just by you telling us that, as we have no idea of the horses general way of going.
Assuming its established and submissive then id say anything from elementary - medium level.
well tbh I was after more of a rough guide, as I know nothing about dressage above prelim. if you put a decent rider onhim he goes very well at home, comps I am presuming hes ok as I know he has been out to a few, and he is a fairly bold lad!
If its BD you are looking to do, depending on his age at import he will be given point automatically so you will either have to compete at that level or have him assessed to reduce them. How old was he when he was imported?
So can mine, but I struggle with sitting trot so am stuck at elementary at the moment! Obviously the horse has to be established in these movements etc etc, and it does very much depend on the experience of the rider....
