Atopica for dogs?

Quite a lot of bull terriers are on it. My route with any skin thing is to eliminate triggers..to find these out you cannot beat the YORKE test, your vet has to get in a pack.It is`nt cheap..but IMO the only one worth bothering with,it is extremely comprehensive. After that an elimination process of triggering factors ,and results should start to be seen fairly quickly. It is very important to realize that if it is a food/type of protein issue, then DON`T trust anything written on a sack..you must go back to home preparation,so you really DO KNOW what is going into the dog.I have`nt had to use Atopica here,as the aforementioned route has always worked. Howver ,have heard of excellent..if VERY EXPENSIVE results.Unless a dog is genuinely atopic I think it would just mask an allergy.Better to fing that allergy in my opinion!:D
