As the title says really, how do you attach a breastplate or martingale to a stud guard? Mine has a ring and a leather strap but my breastplate doesn't have a clip. Sorry if this is seriously thick, I just wasnt sure, I thought that you might just attach it to the strap but that doesn't look secure enough! Can you even do it? Thanks very much!

I thread the breastplate bit through the ring so the breastplate strap is lying flat to the stud gard, and the put the strap through the loop and fasten. My strap is a velcro one, and my breastplate has never moved using this method!

Ok, thankyou very much! The ring on mine is too small to thread it through but it will still lie flat if it goes over the ring. Thanks

Which little clips? Do you mean just a leadrope type clip, because I can't work out how to attach one to my breastplate?

you can get a clip that is teardrop shaped with a single opening, a bit like a caribiner, just thread it through the martingale and then clip to the ring.
