I've just been told that a friend of a friend almost had one of her horses stolen last night. The guys parked their car/van at the end of their driveway, its a long one, and walked right up to the paddock which is right in fron of their house. They tried to catch the horse, who luckily is a bugger to catch, they didn't manange it. The horse obviously struggled as its covered in rope burns
A yard literally a mile away from the above yard and 1/2 a mile from us caught some blokes taking photos of their horses yesterday, the police were called but they scarpered before any reg numbers could be got.
Beware and keep vigilant. Its looks like the rumours from the texts are true.....certainly around here
I'm going to get padlocks for my field gates tomorrow, mind you I'm quite lucky that Cropi doesn't like strangers and 'should' walk away but I'm not taking any chances
