That is awful! Poor horse! Poor owner!

However, they are wrong about the one day old foal - it had been kept with his (tethered) mother on an unfenced piece of land which was bordered by ditches, the poor little mite was actually found dead in one of the ditches. There are other tethered mares on that land, also with foals I believe :confused:
