Warning to those of you in Frampton Cotterell/Iron acton way, yesterday whilst doing my horses I was being watched by a young man sat on a gate opposite with a headcollar in his hand, he is one of a known Gypsy family so made sure everything was well secured and went back and did my nightly check at 8pm all well but this morning my horse trailer had been dragged along to the next field they obviously didnt realise that the gate was locked on this field too, then turned round and dragged to the far end of the field where there is another field but no way out the only access is through the top two gates so my trailer is now abandoned in the middle of my field...not sure how it will be towed out as the ground is waterlogged but at least it is still there and so are my horses! please be aware and make notes of any strange goings on.

Have you notified all the appropriate authorities like local Horsewatch and police officers? Even an attempted theft means they can keep an eye out round local yards, etc, for any further attempts or suspicious behaviour.

Really feel for you as it will take ages before you can relax and feel safe and secure again. So annoys me how some people can cause others such stress and worry. Hope all will be well.
