Good afternoon,
On the 21st August at around 330pm three males were seen in fields off of Heath Lane, Gt Ponton trying to catch a horse. The owner has confirmed that the males were not legitimate and had no reason to get the horse. They left in a silver panel van - partial reg number AJ07 in the direction of Stoke Rochford. Thankfully the group were disturbed by another horse owner.
Lincolnshire police is part of national horse watch scheme. if you would like to become part of the scheme or know somebody that may benefit please email horsewatch@lincs.pnn.police.uk or go on http://www.lincs.police.uk/News-Centre/Campaigns/Horse-Watch/ to download an application form.
We are in the process of purchasing some tack marking equipment and will update up when we are available to carry it out.
