Attempted trailer theft S. Wales

There was an attempted theft of a new style Ivor Williams trailer from a yard on the Cardiff/Caerphilly border this morning. The trailer was parked on a yard and was not visible from the road, although there is a sign to the yard on the road. They were scared off by a livery arriving at 5.30am and had a car to tow parked by the trailer, so had obviously come with a mind to steal it. I am hoping that it will put them off stealing from the yard and that they are interested in trailers, not horses. Be warned and careful, peeps.

I'm wondering if this is linked to our saddles that were stolen last week. Police reckon they know who it is though so fingers crossed they will get it sorted. Do you know what vehicle was used as from that I'll know if it is the same baskets that nicked my tack?

Hmmm, not sure about the vehicle as I haven't seen the livery that caught them but I will ask her over the weekend. Sorry about your tack, b*stards! The worst thing id the feeling that people have been so near to your horses, it makes me feel sick.
