I'm new to hunting and have seen the dress code for after the opening meet, but what is correct to wear at the actual opening meet? This is from a showing person who knows everything about showing attire down to the last pin and bow but hey - what a different story for hunting! Don't want to let my horse down. Do I plait for opening meet too?

Hacking jackets are acceptable for children all year round.

Opening meets are often close to rememberance sunday so many people wear poppies as a buttonhole too.

Also plain tack for horse and plain numnah too.
