Hey,

I have recently bought a new box and would like to get out and about in beautiful Surrey as soon as my box is up and ready.
Can anyone recomend me some good hacking places that I can box and park up and hack safely off road?
:D

Newlands Corner is lovely, gets busy at weekends but if you park at the end (away from snack bar - nice food and milkshakes ) you will be OK. You can hack over to St Martha's (lovely sandy canters) and then on to Blackheath (more sandy canters)or the Chantries (even more sandy canters). A week ago NC was a carpet of violets and cowslips :)

Holmbury Hill (park near Lifetrain Trust) - long uphill canters. Lots of mountain bikers but lots of space. You can then go on to Pitch Hill and over to Winterfold.

Albury Heath cricket pitch (not actually on cricket pitch!) - lots of easy parking and then straight on to Blackheath (this would be my choice as so quiet) It is straight down off Newlands Corner on A25 and then right at Silent Pool, then left up New Road to top, turn right onto cricket pitch. Or go on a bit and park at the Roman Temple at Farley Heath.

As mentioned Ranmore also good, especially in this dry weather.

Pitch Hill, park at Walking Bottom. Gets busy at weekends with mountain bikers, again uphill canters.

Leith Hill also fab but I always get lost up there!

I used to ride round Wisley Woods which is not far from you, quite busy but the Byfleet side is quieter.

Of course Chobham Common is good but I think you need a permit.
