Atypical myopathy Cornwall

Just heard from a local vet that a horse died this week in Praze ,Cornwall from atypical myopathy,hopefully it's a one off.Anyway the vets are suggesting that owners of horses in that area keep them in at night because night time is apparently the worst risk time for horses in wet,leafy fields in warm weather.My thoughts are with the owner of the poor horse that died.

Cornwall had a real spate of this awful illness either last year or the year before,let's hope it's not going to be a repeat of that.
