Does anybody here live near Auchinleck? After all the rain that has fallen in Perth recently very concerned that Auchinleck might be cancelled! Fingers crossed the rain has fallen in Perth and not Auchinleck!!

Course inspection for Auchinleck is tomorrow so news should be up about it as soon as decision made. As you say, fingers crossed!

a general note on the BE website says that the course inspection yesterday (tuesday) was ok, and that provided that there is no further rain, the event will go ahead...but i'm pretty sure it will rain later today....fingers, toes, arms, legs crossed though as it was so sunny and warm last night and this morning!

The Scottish Regional Director has inpected Auchinleck today (17 July), provided there is no further rain it will be running at the weekend. Please keep checking the web and the hotline.
Fingers crossed, but the ground round here is not too bad & Auchinleck is normally dryer. We are half an hour away.

It might be worth checking the website again because there has been a huge thunderstorm and very heavy rain flooding the A77 late this afternoon. But I agree the ground round here is fine, also about 30 mins away, the thunderstorm has so far missed us but someone driving up from Troon this afternoon said it was horrendous.
