Auctions,do they have lists of previous prices?

is there any such thing as a list of prices that horses have reached at auction?I am trying to get an idea of what i can expect to pay if i think of buying a sportshorse youngster from somewhere like goresbridge,my partner has suggested that as with livestock you may be able to see a list of previous sales and how much horses sold for? is this true and if so where can i find this information??

Some of the websites do have previous prices. It is wortth checking the ones you are interested in. Horse and Hounds sometimes lsits prices as well.

All the TB sales Tatts, Donny, Goffs, Brightwells etc publish their sales results the next day in the Racing Post and on the RP website. I know that some have past sales results on their own websites as well. Goresbridge results are published in the "The Irish Field" the saturday following their sales so it might be worth checking their website for previous sales results, The Irish Field also publishes the results for Cavan (another sport horse sale in Ireland). Results from Goresbridge's monthly sale are not published anywhere to my knowledge.
