Does anybody know of a decent horse auction selling show-jumpers - England based? The sales I've seen advertised are more for Welsh ponies/driving/riding horses and don't look to be the sort of sales selling competition horses.
The main (if not only) people who who run sports horse auctions are Brightwells. They have a sales at Addington in August and November time. Horses need to be put forward for selection for these sales, if selected they have to be vetted and xrayed. there are several continental dealers who regularly bring horses over to sell in these auctions.
