Australian stock addles

They are the mutts nuts for breaking young horses!

Virtually impossible to fall out of them (I've only managed that once when I fell off backwards from an unexpected rear)

Ideal for building confidence and keeping the old folks in place!

If and when I can be persuaded to get on board a horse again, an Australian stock saddle is exactly what I want. I had a play around on them in Australia and they are lovely. If I go to Oz again I'm going to bring one back with me or failing that, I'm going to get my friend to send me one. They are SO much cheaper over there. My friend and I are currently hatching a plan to import horsey stuff from Oz to sell over here. Even buying retail over there, I could make a reasonable profit!

yes used to have one, no longer own one and will never own one again. Horse slipped over fell over backwards and as the saddle holds you in, I couldn't bail out, horse landed on me and rolled on me. Probably one of the most dangerous saddles around. I now have a western hybrid saddle which is imported from NZ, fully made to measure, with what leather and seat size and tree that I want, far safer and really comfortable.

I have one and LOVE it !
I have a very spooky horse and the saddle helps me sit the spooks, because of this I am less tense and so is he, so he is less spooky !
And yes you can jump in it !

ken read makes incredible ones, but I think they're 3000 Oz dollars and there a waiting list of a year.

But they are the ultimate, made to measure you (VERY IMPORTANT) and horse.
