Australian study “Safety for Horses and Riders in Eventing” published

The Australian Government’s Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation has released a report - Safety for Horses and Riders in Eventing – following a five year surveillance program. Have just browsed through but it fits with my conclusions that eventing is such a variable sport that there are a myriad of factors that can effect the event. They did not talk about time at all as a factor in getting round the course.
