Hi,

I am a final year student studying neuroscience and psychology and am currently gathering data for my dissertation into 'The effects of hippotherapy (equine therapy) for children with autism spectrum disorders and other pervasive development disorders'. If you;
a) have a child with ASP/PSD that has had equine therapy/been horse riding regularly
b) work with children with ASD/PDD and horses or
c) generally have been involved with a child with ASD/PDD having ridden therapy
I would be very grateful if you could fill in the questionnaire below:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QRTVGDF

If you have any questions feel free to post them here or PM me The full project outline can be viewed here:

Thank you very much for your time,

Victoria

I'd be really interested in the conclusions you draw through this research, could you possibly share when it's concluded? I'm an EAL facilitator.

Will you post the results when you have them?

I have an autistic spectrum son but he prefers lego, meccano and cars to my horses so I haven't filled in your survey but would be very interested in the results.

Sorry for delay in replying and thanks for all your support, greatly appreciated! Hopefully this link will work:

and yup, I'll put my entire paper up for you guys to read once it's done (thought I warn it'll be long a probably boring :p )

I'm just looking at children atm, but any children on the ASD scale can fill it in/be filled in about. It doesn't have to be hippotherapy, just equine therapy with aims, other than just learning to ride.

I can post up some journal papers if people are interested?
