Automatic hay feeder

Just saw this on Facebook. Surprisingly cheap for those looking for a solution for late night or midday feeding - if it works! Can imagine a few spooks when it drops out suddenly for the first time...

My daughter feeds her cats using an automatic feeder, and one of the unforeseen advantages is that the cats do not see the human as a source of food, so you don't get the pestering and well rehearsed pity-me eyes from a cat that would like a bit more food, or different food to the one on offer! They can leave their cats for periods of time as they also have a CCTV so can see if the feeder is still working and the cats are ok, with a backup person to call if needed.

My BF designed one that works with internet and app, but never fitted it because our slow feeder has been great.

However, at this price point, I would be interested in buying!

I would hang it from the rafters on a pulley or Rigs would rip it for sure
