Hi all another question about towing... Sorry like to sure!

Whats recommended auto or manual? Or what do you prefer?

Auto - purely because I'm lazy - and I find easier on hills!

Hate using my Dad's truck to tow - that's manual, but SWB so easier to manouvure than mine which is LWB!!

Have towed with both and much prefer the auto. It gives the horse a nicer ride and going up and down hills is managed by the press of a button.

I prefer manual. Gives smoother braking if you can go down the gears first.

Dont really have a preference, performance wise. For ease on long journeys - Auto. I have had both and have been vey happy with both.

Currently have a Mitsu Shogun - Auto which tows like a dream and has never let me down.

For driving an auto, for towing a manual as I find if you need to change gear you can do it when you wants and not when the car thinks it should!
