autumn is here - such a lovely day !!

Is anyone else enjoying the sunshine today ?? I love autumn (and winter ), and this is why ! We put our heating on for the first time last night, so it's certainly getting to that time.

I just wish my boy wasn't turned away to grow when the weather's like this - riding out would be fab

Autumn? Is it Autumn now? Our days have been just like summer, although saying that I suppose there is a very slight chill in the air. The temps seem to be dropping to 11 degrees at night time

Temps at night have been freeeeeezing!

Havent had high temps during the day either! Im in heaven! Hate hot weather

Ahh really?! Its been super hot here in the day all week, been having to ride in the evening

Today is a really gorgeous day!! Proper chilly first thing, but perfect and sunny! We hacked out this morning and it was so lovely not to be plagued by horse flys! Perfect sun, lots of dew, deer bouncing across the path, and ground great for canters - what more can you ask!

Yup the nights are cold - that time of year when you have to time changing the duvets over - too soon and you're boiling, too late and you're freezing..

And the boy is starting to get a bit woolly. The ferrets are starting to scoff more and put on weight, and they're getting very fluffy too. Lydia doubles in size in the winter, most of it a fab furry coat. Will have to get some good pics of her this year.

We def have the start of the fluff here too! Sleek summer coats giving way to the beginnings of a super fluffy pony coat!

Definately autumnal - my favourite part of the year with the horses and the ponies are starting to resemble persian rugs...ooo to clip or not to clip this winter...!!

It's been beautiful throughout the daytime but it's certainly colder late at night & first thing in the morning.

It was minus 2 here this am & for the first time i had to scrape the frost off the car !!!!

FROST !!!! It's a bit too early to be facing that !! I'm investing in one of those heaters you stick on the dashboard this winter, got soooooo sick of deicing and the de-icer freezing.
