I've not used the horse products (as don't have a horse), but I use Supplex for my dogs and have been really pleased with it. My 11 year old girl is less stiff now than she was at 8 when I started using it. I've always found them good to deal with as well.
 
iv used the suppleaze gold on my arthritic veteran and noticed an improvement within the loading dose period. it has defiantely helped reduce his stiffness.
i also use a couple of their other products which seem to work well too!
