My friend has given me 4 spray bottles of this , I seem to remember it has some effect against flies! Do you just spray it on like fly spray?
I seem to remember a post about it last year..

Yes, it is excellent!! It even works against horrible Scottish midges and horseflies!!!

It is oil based though so don't wear on yourself/ horse with pale skin in bright sunshine, as you will burn.

Also not advised for the show ring, as does leave a slight film on the horses coat which is effective but not attractive...

My horse gets eaten alive on his sheath area and I've found it invaluable for that. I don't use it on his body as general fly spray though as the previous posters have pointed out it may cause burns being oily

Thanks... As it was a free gift I grabbed it with huge thanks... I will make sure it's used properly, I do use factor 50 sun spray on his nose and face..

Hasn't worked for me I'm afraid. I'm onto my 2nd bottle and mine have loads of bites already. I was looking for a thread with fly spray suggestions on and my search brought up this thread
