As title says. I remember its been mentioned on many threads for a number of reasons for horses and have just received an Avon catalogue with it half price. Also which one do you use? Thanks in advance!
Seriously though last summer he really suffered with flies and bites on his sheath which became sore and swollen. He spent ages kicking at it and stamping his back legs in discomfort. (I also found a maggot once inside)
I plastered it in Avon SSS twice a day- also got it on offer and a bottle lasted all summer. Its been an absolute god send for him.
Be careful using it on bodies or bits exposed to the sun though, being an oil it can cause sun burn.
Green one (or blue, I think it's changed over the years) for fly spray. It does still work but not as well as a few years ago when they changed the ingredients
Pink one for mane and tail, makes them so soft and shiny!
Base oil for fly spray, blue one called soft and fresh. I add various essential oils plus cold water and dettol to a 250ml bottle of ASSS. It's also a miracle worker on mudfever.
Thanks for all your replies. Sounds great as one of mine seems to have developed an allergy to anything that's citronella based.
A willy cream! (Childish giggle) but yes the flies play havoc in that area, drive my gelding mad!
I take it you mean the 250ml SSS moisturising gel? ATM that's reduced to £3 so a good buy if it works. Will get some ordered. Thanks again x
