Avon SKins So Soft Question?

Supposed to be good for midges but Id recomend diluting it with water especially in hot weather as it burnt my horse as its oil.

Woops :D Just read you post again. Its the Avon sss bath oil or I used the dry oil spray. Its the one in the green bottle, used to be called Woodland fresh or something like that. I use it on hols too at night as a mosquito repellent, smells really nice

so is it the dry oil one that is good for midges, my YO has got a sweet itch sufferer and shes only 3 and is itching like mad and iv got a bottle of the dry oil spray lying around!

I might have a go with the dry oil spray, adding it into the current concoction. But it did no good against the mozzies on holiday last week, although it was a good aftersun.

I have my sweet itch sufferer stabled at night and rugged at all times, I use the skin so soft on her legs and its stopped them being bitten!

I have tried using it as an insect repellant when out hacking but it doesn't seem to work so well at keeping the horseflies and cattle flies away

Dry oil spray - fantastic for the flies and other creepies!
And smells really good too. Also works as an alternative to Mane and Tail....cheaper than expensive fly spray and mane and tail!! :)

OOH good advice, I got loads of it for Xmas over the last few year - thanks for suggestion on how to use it. Its been stock piling in my bathroom - I'm not a great user of it but my aunt always buys it!

just go on ebay and type in skin so soft and its the dry oil spray, you can usually get about 5 for £10 on there..
