Decided to post here as this is where most of the matchy is ;).

Saw this on fb, nearly had a fit as there about 4 sets of saddlecloths and ears i want and have told myself i have got to limit it to 2 sets ;)
 
That was me if it was on the Matchy Matchy Dressage Swap Shop group :).

I like the bright blue, ice, and navy but what's with the brown on everything? Quite disappointed with Eskadron, hoping the NG stuff will be better. Euro Star stuff is horrible. Anky is meh. Schokemohle (sp?) is gorgeous.
 
Last years winter collection was bright as i got a blue, grey and blueberry type colour set and there was no brown in sight. Perhaps they are trying to tie in the summer and winter collections this year.
I have to admit i dont mind the browns. I got the lighter brown from the summer collection and then wanted the dark brown but couldnt get the ears and saddlecloth so i will prob get what looks like a dark brown in this collection. I like the look of the bright blue (i think, hard to see) but i've got a few blue sets, i'll decide when i see it all properly.

oooh post links to Euro Star and Anky please? I clearly have a long night in the office ahead of me so I like looking at stuff.

I really like brown! I got the brown last time too - I have a bright bay TB and he looks good in everything so I feel as though he ought to have everything as otherwise too difficult to decide ... this is what I told my bank manager not sure he was very sympathetic though!

Everyone just seems to have the same core colours in their collections this season. Most disappointing :(. Think I'll be buying some Eskadron Platinum and all the Schokemohle (I give up trying to spell it), then spending the remaining pennies on a nice pair of long boots.

That's all the horsewear :(. I was hoping for more Cashmere and Waterfall on things but no such luck! I hope the rider wear is a bit more adventurous.

Just an FYI, the Schokemohle stuff is available to buy on eBay already :).
 
FYI: that is not the complete Eurostar collection! I have just seen pics of what is being released on Friday and there is yellow and teal in the Excellent pads ... there are six colours in total (wish I knew how to post pictures). The colours aren't super exciting (I have to admit) but are Black with blue binding, Red with navy binding, grey with red binding, teal with black binding, navy with teal binding and yellow with navy binding. Not as nice as the summer ones; I am debating whether to go for the yellow but I don't think it would really suit my grey and my bright bay is currently off games (again) so debating whether there is any point.

There are also 7 colours in the crystal but they are all super boring I cant even be bothered to list them. p.s. for MDIAI: One of the colours is a light blue which is similar to cashmere.

Ooh, teal sounds nice. And the navy. Maybe :P.

I'm no fashionista with season colours - I just like everything for my lad in black and purple! And nice purple seems impossible to find in the fancy sets... For some reason. Any smart suggestions much appreciated though...

Khalswitz - what do you think do the reddy-purple in the Nici? Or is that not purple-y enough? I know Eskadron did purple a few seasons ago it's just really difficult to get hold of now :(.
 
MDIAI: thanks! I did actually try to send you the teal ones but my email wouldn't work - aggh.

Eskadron definitely more interesting than Euro Star but I am not super excited about it (whereas I had to buy everything from the SS14 collection!)

It's probably more burgundy ish than purple :/. I like a more blue based purple than sort of plum/red based purple. Just doesn't seem to be the fashion these days!! Thanks though :)

YES!!!! Love the second one esp, lovely colour :) although that last purple and grey is very nice too... Eek all of them are!

And I now bow down to your matchy shopping expertise!!!!

Now I just need to hunt down matching bandages.... ;)

So, has everyone made their decisions?

I am having an absolutely horrendous week at work so have cheered myself up with ordering 6 pads and various boots and accessories ... 5 from Eskadron classic and 1 from Eurostar (the colours really were all a bit meh). I am undecided about another 3 from Eskadron (deciding which platinum ones I want).

I do have 3 horses so it doesn't seem too bad right? also I wont get to see any of it as I am off to Asia for 3 weeks so will have to wait until October to actually use any of them!

Haha, not bad at all! After all, it's only 2 saddlecloths per horse ;).

I want the navy and mid-blue plain pads from Eskadron but that's about it :(. Though I've just ordered some Ebony Esk Platinum and two more of the Le Mieux CC pads as they seem to fit better under my new saddle :D. Pony will be having some new Equilibrium XC boots and whatever else I see at Burghley - thinking some new reins and an elasticated breastplate.

I really do hate most of the Eurostar collection so haven't ordered anything from it. Anky is OK but I'd rather save my money and wait for SS15.

Suspect that the only other saddlecloths I'll be buying will be the Le Mieux CC ones - still have 4 colours to get :D.
 
Where have you ordered the Eskadron from? Im looking at Calevo but they havent got the ears i want in Capri blue (already?!) so want to look else were, any ideas?
