Aww poor little pony - RIP little Neddy

Thats a couple of miles from me. Walked past them all last week.
Honestly some people can be ridiculously stupid.
RIP little pony. Owners must be devastated.

Scarily my YO accidentally fed my horse beet pellets the other day, thinking she was feeding him his normal cubes. We couldnt understand why he was off his food - until I investigated the bucket! Thankfully he had decided not to eat them, inadvertantly saving himself a lot of tummy ache if not much much worse. My poor YO was asbsolutley horrified at what she had done and spent the night checking on him just in case.
 
The idiots who caused what would have been a slow agonising death for that poor pony should be tracked down and prosecuted. Ignorance is no excuse for interfering with somebody else's animals. If they were worried about the pony in any way then they should have contacted WHW or some local equine people if they knew nothing about equines.

Agree! I think I would do time for some officious, self righteous little prick who did this to one of my animals!

It has always been my fear that someone may feed my ponies something they shouldn't. If I see anyone feeding a horse over a fence I always ask if they know the horse, then give them a lecture (nicely) about how they shouldn't feed a horse they don't know.
