Axiom rugs?

Fantastic Rugs!! I bought some a few years ago from ebay, paying £20 including P&P - they are brilliant, very thick and warm but not stupidly heavy like some HW TOs. They fit beautifully, and are really nice and deep. I had one for my stallion - he was a notorious rug ripper/wrecker, and he wore it for three winters solid before it had to have any repairs - the rug he wore whilst it went of for repairs (just a new surcingle) was trashed within 2 days!!

Thrilled with mine. Especially my camouflage Jordan pink ones, but I'm not sure what the boys will make of them! (too cheap to worry about the colour :) )

Heard really good things about them, as I did a search on here - I will be investing in one in a month or two in a 300gm one from ebay, they look good value for money and seem to fit very well according to most people's comments.

I'd be interested in seeing what the reviews are too, I too am after a standard neck winter weight turnout, but after buying a rhinegold that was like a mini skirt on my tb cross (so god only knows what sort of horse they do fit!!) I don't like to buy makes that I don't know. How do these compare, are they short or do they come down the sides of the horse well????

Goodness me they are cheap! And look nice...I might consider one of those if (when) Barney trashes his current one

I have these rugs :) I LOVE THEM! Holly had the Pink Camouflage one I am going to get her a combo for this year though.

I'm going the opposite way!! My current fal combo rubs my mares mane away so I'm going back to a standard neck!!! Not sure what the Axiom combo's are like for this??

I can see after this thread that we're all going to be bidding against each other and bumping up the prices!!!! hahaha, we'll have to set up a rota to avoid it!!

Another thumbs up for Axiom

All the geldings at our yard play really rough, grabbing each others rugs and pulling.

They destroyed my Rambo Supreme in 2 weeks; I bought an Axiom from ebay, the 1800 denier version, and it lasted the entire winter with not a mark and will go on again this year

The fit is superb and they are totally waterproof

Highly recommended!

I bought the 180g 1200D medium weight rug from them last week. Arrived mega quick and have to say, very impressed!

Lovely fit, nice and deep and plenty of room in the chest area, looks really lovely and feels really tough. Comes with neck attachment rings too which is fab so for £38 altogether, I am one very happy customer :)

Oh noes, how annyoing! I was lucky I think, someone had bid on the rug I wanted but about 2 minutes before the end, I placed a bid and only paid £1 more than the starting price so was uber happy :D

I have three and they're great!

Lovely deep fit, great big tail flap and the high denier ones have so far being indestructable! Toby's rugs used to last a couple of weeks - the 1800D one lasted all winter with not a scratch.

RE mane rubbing - the full neck rubbed toby's mane badly but most rugs do due to his head carraige, so it's probably not specific to Axioms.

I've had loads of these from the no fill sheets 600's and 1200's My advice would be to go for the higest denier as the sheet does leak and the 600 in places but the bigger denier ones are i would say the best ever. My ID mare is a big deep girl and they fit lovely and no surcingle extenders needed unlike some other rugs. This will be the 4th winter in the same one When i bought mine they started at 99p postage was always £12 and they won't combine.

ABSOLUTELY MARVELLOUS!!!! India is very fine coated and she has the combo I think 390 or 400+ gram filling and it dries quickly, doesnt rub ANYWHERE and keeps her toasty with no need for a soggy under-rug!! I have attched some pics of her in it :)
