I have JUST got in, having done all of every day at Burghley, and logged on hoping to find the same. We saw him pull up and put in the ambulance, that was one VERY lame horse
The vet on the scene didn't really examine him tbh, they just got him cooled off with a load of water, and got him in the box asap...
I saw MR at one of the stands today, smiled at him, but didn't dare ask how horsey was in case it was very bad news and he didn't appreciate being asked.
I had a lovely time though, other than that incident, thank you S. I am sat here totally surrounded by shopping bags - I have never been on a splurge like it
Am thinking I ought to hide them before mother gets home

May be a good idea - or at least hide one of everything you bought
Depends which one and how bad. Suspensorys can take up to 6 months to repair (assuming its a tear) but can be as strong, if not stronger, than before they went.... so its really down to where the injury occured and how the horse copes with the rehab....
