Azerbaijan has a new international rider..

Patrick McEntee, Irish by birth, who has ridden for Belgium for a number of years, is now going to ride for Azerbaijan! Makes the move some riders made to Ukranian nationality look tame if you ask me! He recently had a bit of a run-in with the Belgian federation, who criticised his lack of sportingness( unfairly in most people's opinion), although that seemed to be ironing itself out slowly.

there were rumours of this floating around a few weeks back, but they were supposedly put to rest by the new national coach, Guerdat, acting as mediator at a meeting in Mechelen between PMcE and the Belgian Fed.
