Anyone spoken to the organisers about the weather, suprised they haven't posted anything on BDWP or BE, it's been torrential here in Bristol, am assuming the same in Shepton Mallet.
Can see lots of people withdrawing, though they still ran on the 1st day at the sprin event & the weather was horrendous then.

Im sure they will run, the forecast for tomorrow is much better and the wind is due to pick up really hard (50/60 mph late afternoon and evening) so hopefully the ground will dry out a bit.

My old horse loves heavy going, so hope they do run B and W - would love to see him go well!
Is it still raining down there, we have a runner at Bath races Sunday, needs plenty of dig in the ground. Been tipping it down here all morning.

I rode out yesterday across our fields and though wet it was not digging up that much - it was more slippery. Same at Charlton Park. It is suposed to be nice for the weekend - hope so as going to attempt to clip my horse tomorrow. My horse is better in the wet he behaves himself more in the dressage!

I wonder if Sunday will be off, after Sat, if the ground gets too churned up.
I set off in the Spring to B&W on the Sunday, in a snow storm, having being told at 6.30am it was still on, at 7.10am they decided it was off! Wasnt amused after plaiting and driving 30 miles on the M4 in a blizzard

It hasn't rained over here all day, and it's also nice and windy.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow, let the battle begin!
