Finally managed t get YO to fence off a section of field for his lordship touse as a starvy (laminitis prevention and anti obesity campaign!)
Anyway, went in to poo pick the first day to find the hedge side of the field practically lifting with ragwort.

3 1/2 hours later, and 6 stone lighter I think Ive dug up all the stuff and moved it to the muck heap (for YO to get rid of)

Anyway, am worried they will just regrow back and am worried he will eat it.

Should I fence the area off, watch for regrowth a squirt the little B*****ds with roundup??

Not sure what to do for the best...............

Just keep an eye on it.

We have some very irresponsible land owners around us, and last year there were yellow flowers all over the area. The upshot of that is that we have little floret's of the damn stuff popping up after every shower.

We patrol round while poo picking and anything seen is dug up immediately and disposed of off site.

What hisses me off is that it is other horse owners who are letting the damn stuff grow. Warning shots are being fired, if they do nothing the next phone call goes to DEFRA!
