Babas first proper go on a pony

We got a new saddle so though Emma could have her proper go on the pony tonight. not just a sit on. Didn't bother with a bridle as well - - don't want her jabbing her in the face.

She wouldn't hold on to anything - and wanted to flap like a bird!! She was so sweet and was *bwushing* her with her mini grooming kit. My sister was also teaching her to be a cowboy. We had a walk around for a while then a wee trot, but she was laughing so much she kept crumpling up - that and shettie trot is rather fast!

Really need to get her some proper boots - I just begrude paying £30 for tiny joddy boots!!

Ah bless her, before you know it shell be a right rider.

I got my daughter some leather joddie boots for a tenner on ebay!! As i begrudge paying that much too considering how quicky mt daughter seems to wear them out!!!

That is where I keep looking and even though i am searching the auctions, just seem to get the BRAND new boots!

Pfft - not paying adult prices for 1/4 of the product. lol

Yeah, the hat is from Tesco. I got it before I found the toddler riding hats - which I had been looking for for ages as well, and low and behold, I buy this then the DAY after find the website!! bah!

I also have the adult hat and I quite liked it - very light

The ones i bought my daughter were brand new on BIN auction and still only a tenner, i know things get more expensive coming up Xmas time on ebay. What size is she, im sure ive got a pair of outgrown purple ones lurking in a cupboard somewhere?

Well, between a 5.5 and a 6 - depends on the shoe. She has been blessed with boats rather than feet!

Ill have a look, off to bed in a min but will have a dig out tommorow, need to do a clear out before xmas anyway so will see where they are, although think they may be bigger. But would probaly still be of some use to you at some point. Might need a clean first mind you.:)

Aaah very cute, she'll be at badminton in no time :D :)

I think you can get quite cheap children's boots at decathlon sports shop, failing that I think the larger tescos do horsey stuff?
